Not surprisingly due to it being the holiday season and indeed the small amount of sunshine we have experience, this newsletter is sadly lacking in news.
I have noted on the website calendar the forthcoming shows and events that I am aware of, however if anyone knows of any others please don't hesitate to let me know in the usual way.
Claire has been in contact with the secretary of Lowswater Show and they have agreed to donate 2 tickets to the club and pay £10 for the loan of the cones.
However they are also asking if indeed anyone would be interested in participating in the show in either Class 44 Excercise vehicle and Private Driving or/and Class 45 Cone Driving competition details can be obtained from the secretary Annette Billinghurst 80 West St, Aspatria CA7 3HH.
Claire also expressed concern from Annette that at the moment only 2 entries have been received for the driving and concern has been raised if indeed this class will continue, so support will be greatly appreciated where possible for this show to prevent the eventuality of loosing another local event.
As stated in the last newsletter, Rob is doing the Coast to Coast beginning his trip on Tuesday 1st September from Silloth to Alnwick and back again. This is in aid of Eden Valley Hospice.
